This page explains how content on EliTadalafil gets made, reviewed, and kept current. We publish it so readers don't have to take our accuracy on faith.

Sourcing Standards

Every factual claim on this site traces back to a primary or professionally recognized source rather than to other informational websites. Our sourcing hierarchy, in order of preference:

  1. FDA-approved prescribing information, as published on DailyMed.
  2. FDA consumer guidance and safety communications.
  3. Recognized clinical references (for example, Mayo Clinic, MedlinePlus, and professional society resources such as the Urology Care Foundation).
  4. Peer-reviewed literature, when it adds context beyond what labeling covers.

We do not source factual or safety claims from manufacturer marketing pages, seller websites, or unsourced aggregator content.

Writing Process

Drafts are written to translate the sources above into plain language without changing their meaning. Where labeling is ambiguous or where research is limited or mixed, we say so explicitly rather than rounding up to a more confident-sounding claim.

Pharmacist Review

Every page is reviewed by Dr. Michael Rio, PharmD, a licensed pharmacist, before initial publication. Review checks factual accuracy against source labeling, confirms safety information (interactions, contraindications, side effects) is represented without minimization, and flags language that reads as promotional rather than informational.

Update Cadence and Triggers

Pages are re-reviewed when: the underlying FDA label changes, a reader reports a possible error, or roughly on an annual basis at minimum even without a specific trigger. The "last reviewed" date on each page reflects the most recent check, not necessarily the original publication date.

Corrections
